Shiatsu a tradition from China

Shiatsu is practiced on the floor on a futon, tatami mat etc. A session can last between one hour to one hour and a half depending on the general state of the person (plan 1h30 for the first session).

The receiver is dressed in comfortable loose fitting clothes.

Common indications:
Functional problems linked to digestion, bowel movements, ENT area, skin allergies, muscle and tendon issues, menstrual cycle, menopause, headaches, fatigue, stress, anxiety, back pain and sleeping problems…

Massage techniques practiced by physiotherapists are excluded from Shiatsu. The term “Shiatsu massage” used frequently, notably on the internet, is theoretically meaningless.
